It's rather off topic, but I think it's worth saying
given the apparent complete lack of understanding of
these things by the media and general public.
Peaceful protest is perfectly legal. You can protest
in a way which is non-violent but also not peaceful
(say, by sitting down in the road and obstructing
traffic). This can be illegal.
My understanding is that this will be a perfectly
peaceful, legal and relatively polite protest (which
is, after all, the only sane way of doing it in this
case.)
Hopefully, I'll be able to come along, but I may
not know until the day.
