The label doesn't _need_ to offer a refund - you're legally entitled
to that under UK law if the product isn't what it is claimed or implied
to be. So we should settle for nothing less than a statement clearly
visible on the packaging to the effect of "This product is not an
audio compact disk but it might play in some audio CD players"

Also a warning: if you do buy a shiny round plastic thing that is
sold as a CD and subsequently turns out not to be, please take it
back and demand a REFUND. If you accept a replacement, you may
weaken your case for a refund later if the replacement also turns
out to have been adulterated in a different way. Of course, you can
do what you like with the refunded money, including buying a non-
adulterated version of the product.
