I know this is a little off-topic for the list, but I thought you
might be interested to know that Big George has set out his ideas for
how to bring the UK music industry back to life in an article in the
January Sound-on-Sound (not in newsagents for a week or so).

The most interesting thing for me is the idea of forming a National
Gig Circuit, to give bands an opportunity to play and get heard, which
seems so obviously a good idea that I'm sure he'll get support for
this.

His campaign is looking good.  Best of luck to him !
