I have a Sony DVP-7700 DVD player. It's probably not top of the range
any more, but I bought it about two years ago for around =C2=A3700 (it's no=
w
=C2=A3500), and at that time it was top of the range (the next one up was t=
he
200-disc changer) - if you are interested in the details of the player,
check
http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/50-sony-dvp-s7700-7700-multi-region-dvd-=
player.html (which is actually where I bought it).

I'm happy to test discs in this player. Is there a specific disc which
you are testing for consistency, Darren, and if so, is it reasonably
easy to get hold of?

I also have a PC CD-ROM drive and a DVD-ROM drive in my main computer,
and a DVD-ROM drive in my laptop (IBM Thinkpad T-22). Lastly, I have two
housemates, one of whom also has a CD-ROM player, and one who has both
CD and DVD again. With the exception of the laptop, these tests probably
won't be much good to Watchdog as they arecustom-build machines (I
imagine Watchdog will be more interested in well known system companies
such as IBM, dell, Tiny, Gateway, etc.)

Cheers,

Andy.
