I've been speaking to the Watchdog researcher again. She's been doing
some really good work, turning up lots of stuff that I didn't know
about. She had a couple of people lined up for filming on the 3rd/4th
of January, but one has dropped out due to illness, and the other is
also looking uncertain now.
She's committed to those dates, and she's looking for other people
who'd be willing to appear at or around that time (she may be able to
arrange things for the 2nd or 5th if nothing else is possible).
London is ideal, but they are also heading out in the Wiltshire/
Bedford direction on the 4th.
So, does anyone know anyone who's had a problem with a CD and who be
willing to be filmed and appear on TV ? She's interested in teenagers
especially (problems with FIVE CDs, etc), and she's also happy with
technically-minded people who can complain from that perspective (for
instance, regarding digital playback problems). However, she'll
consider anyone at this stage.
She's also interested in very high-profile CDs -- especially problems
with CDs like Robbie Williams' CD "Swing when you're winning", which
is number one at the moment. So many CDs that have been given over
Christmas will be corrupted CDs (I've seen several suspects), there
will be many problems like this.
So, does anyone have any contacts or relatives who are able and
willing to help? It would be really good to pull this all together.
Send me their contact details and I'll pass them on to the researcher.
Alternatively, contact me, and I'll send you her contact details.
Please pass this request on to other people if that will help.
Many thanks -
Jim
