Ok then,

I think we should try for Friday if possible, and if we can't get enough
people, hold the protest on Saturday instead.  I'd like to make the
decision about this before midday tomorrow, so that people have plenty of
notice.

Could I have replies to this list saying whether you can make Friday at
1pm, or Saturday at 12, and how many other people you will be able to
bring with you in either case.

Personally, I can make either Friday or Saturday, and will be bringing at
least one other, if not more.
