Just look at the speed that recentlog scrolls. We'd miss a lot.

There are already other sites using mod_virgule: quite apart from
badvogato there was a totally non-software-related one which I
forget and the ghostscript people use mod_virgule for their stuff,
too. Having looked at that, it seems to me that setting our own up 
would be better. It would be more focussed, and it wouldn't get
sidetracked into one of those discussions that practically takes
over recentlog.
