Does nobody think that Sony are simply "placing thier bets"? Presumably, they
have no idea which path the market will take; will the public be oblivious to
the restriction of free use, or will they get upset and see DRM schemes
dissappear? Sony, by producting two competing products, will win no matter
what happens. The NetMD is thier Backup Plan (tm) in case thier corrupt-CD
campaign fails.
