Etc. Etc. The phrase `not a snoopers' charter' is one of
their favourite phrases.
I am intrigued that you got an answer with an example of
how the Department of Health might use communications
data. I asked a very specific question about why the Post
Office[1] needed access to communications data, and didn't
get it.
My letter from Bob Ainsworth did say that ``... the draft
order did _not_ come about as a result of the September 11
terrorist attacks.'' I think that he mentions this because
Anne Campbell's letter to me claimed that they did, and
Bob Ainsworth's letter is technically to Anne Campbell.
