ncad - Network Console on Acid Daemon- /sbin/ncad
ncad is a version of OpenSSH hacked such that it can run without access to any read/write filesystems, and before the likes of NIS, the resolver et al are working properly. nca(8) is run as the user's shell.
In essence, ncad is a cheap and marginally less functional alternative to a serial console.
See nca(8) for capabilities of nca (the tool that provides access to the console itself).
The ncad_config file is the configuration file for the ncad daemon. It uses exactly the same format as sshd_config(5), which man page you should consult for details.
